Mr. Murgo was named Principal of Brooke Point High School in July of 2023. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education and Master's degree in Education Leadership from George Mason University. Mr. Murgo has been an educator for over 20 years and is extremely excited to be a member of the Black-Hawk community!

Mrs. Bryant earned her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, a Family and Consumer Science Major, and a Spanish Minor from Western Michigan University. She earned her Master’s degree from George Mason University in Education and her Educational Leadership endorsement from the University of Mary Washington. Mrs. Bryant began her teaching career at BPHS in 2003. She then became an assistant principal at Stafford middle school and returned to Brooke Point in 2020.

Mr. Maisonet earned a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and History from University of Miami and his Education Leadership endorsement from George Mason University. He has been in the educational field for seventeen years and is now an enthusiastic member of the Black-Hawk family.

Brooke Point High School is proud to welcome Mrs. Anna Papas as our new Assistant Principal. With over 25 years in education, including more than two decades of service in Stafford County, Mrs. Papas brings extensive experience as a teacher, math specialist, and former Secondary Mathematics Coordinator. She holds degrees from Mississippi University for Women, George Mason University, and William & Mary, and is a former National Board Certified Teacher. Mrs. Papas is passionate about fostering strong partnerships among families, students, and staff to support student success and is excited to join the Brooke Point community.

Ms. Sarah Skinner brings 15 years of dedication to Stafford County Public Schools to her new role as Assistant Principal at Brooke Point High School. A familiar face at BPHS, she has served as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, math teacher, and most recently, Dean of Students. Ms. Skinner has contributed to key curriculum development and founded the Pop-Up Prom Free Dress Drive. She holds degrees from George Mason University, University of Mary Washington, and Old Dominion University.

Mr. Tryon is a class of 2000 graduate of Brooke Point High School. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation at Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master’s of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Tryon taught physical education in Stafford from 2006-2019 including three years as the School Testing Coordinator at Stafford High School. During that time, he served as an assistant basketball and soccer coach as well as the head boys basketball coach at both Stafford and Brooke Point High School. Mr. Tryon returns to Brooke Point after most recently being the Director of Activities at Riverbend High School in Spotsylvania County.

Aubrey Mitchell joins Brooke Point High School as the new Dean of Students. With a strong background in education and student support, Aubrey is dedicated to fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment where every student can thrive. She brings a wealth of experience in leadership, student engagement, and academic guidance, and is committed to supporting both students and staff in achieving their full potential. Aubrey looks forward to building strong relationships within the Brooke Point community and contributing to the continued success of the school.
